As the sun set on Shorefront Park in Patchogue, Long Island on the hottest day of the year so far, legendary funk rock band War delivered an extraordinary set at the 13th annual Great South Bay Music Festival.

Founding member Lonnie Jordan looked and sounded great as he sang classic War songs like Spill The Wine and Low Rider. The rest of the band including Stuart Ziff on guitar, Marcos J. Reyes on percussion, Scott Martin on sax, Stanley "The Baron" Behrens on harmonica, Rene Camacho on bass and Sal Rodrigues on drums also sounded great and didn't miss a beat.
